Valuable nature
The area around Slättanäs has much more to offer than a popular beach. There are tennis courts, barbecue sites and lovely routes for walking or cycling. But the natural landscape itself is the high point. This is a coastal and farming landscape rich in flora and fauna whose character is largely unchanged over time. The flat landscape offers beautiful sea views. The cape Blötö adjoins Slättanäs. This is home to one of the oldest oak trees in the area and the ruins of a simple cottage and earth cellar. Blötö mainly consists of a meadow with oak trees and a smaller coastal meadow with tufts of grass. Source: Blekinge County Administrative Board
