Park - Rosengården

Beautiful little park called "Rosengården" located near the city center.

"Rosengården" (the rose garden) was build in the 1920s as an entrance to the school Väggaskolan
(the red building up on the hill).

Today, the park is considered as the main park in
the municipality. The park offers a rich selection for those who are interested
in plants. Here is a rosarium with lots of roses, spring and summer flowers,
woodland planting and unusual bushes and trees. The large outdoor stage called "Snäckan" (sea shell) is used throughout the year for
various types of events. The city's midsummer celebration is held in the park,
and it is also used extensively by the students at Väggaskolan for kick-off and
celebrations.
