Description
Karlshamn's town hall is a building on the street Rådhusgatan next to the square in central Karlshamn, built in 1900 in a mixture of
Art Nouveau and Dutch Renaissance.
The house was designed by architect Gustaf Adolf Lindberg. The plinth
consists of granite and the facades are light plastered. Ornamentation and
moldings are made of red sandstone. There is a clock in the tower of the house
and the roof is covered with copper sheeting. On the
facade facing the square are the numbers "1899", which is the year
the building would have been completed. The town hall is today the seat of
Karlshamn municipality's political leadership and its administration.
