Mörrumsån is famous among anglers throughout Europe, because the wild stock of salmon makes fishing in the river unique. Every year, anglers from near and far come here in the hope of catching their dream fish.

Sport fishing from past to present

Salmon fishing in Mörrumsån was first described as early as 1231. Even today, fishing is of great importance to the village. With 10,000 fishing days and 250,000 visitors, our fishing facility Mörrums Kronolaxfiske is one of Blekinge's largest and most popular tourist destinations.

At Mörrums Kronolaxfiske there is something for everyone. In addition to fishing enthusiasts and visitors being able to take part in guiding activities and fishing courses, there is also an accessories shop, Laxens hus with exhibition and aquarium, restaurant, accommodation and conference facilities. All in the middle of fishing paradise!

We conduct extensive fish conservation at Mörrum's Kronolaxfiske, which also contributes to the great interest in the river. In addition to anglers, researchers also come here to take part in our collective experience of salmon and sea trout.
