Lectures and Guided Tours
Marit Anglert is an archaeologist and building antiquarian, educated at Lund University. She possesses in-depth knowledge of Blekinge’s history and has a particular interest in the human stories and events that have shaped the landscape.
Born in Torhamn and a resident of the Eastern Archipelago for over 25 years, Marit has a unique connection to the area. She combines her archaeological work with lectures, articles, and guided tours. Her tours take visitors on a journey through time and space — in short, through the history of the Eastern Archipelago.
Last but not least, she guides us through the beautiful cultural landscape of Blekinge. Marit tells the story of the countryside, where both standing and long-gone churches, along with their parishioners, are at the heart of the narrative.
With her talks and tours, Marit shares her knowledge — always with a joy of storytelling that brings history to life. Whether you’re interested in the rural church landscape or the multifaceted history of the Eastern Archipelago, she offers a fascinating insight into Blekinge’s rich past.
