Sailing trail detour to Byrumsviken – Nötanabben

Moorings are available on the east and west sides of the inlet although the jetties aren’t in the best condition. The Swedish Cruising Association has a buoy in the inlet. The countryside on both sides is beautiful for walks. The whole area is a nature reserve. The northern tip of Nötanabben is home to one of Blekinge’s biggest graveyards and there is a swimming spot a little further to the west. East of the inlet there is a marked 3 km walking trail which passes the burial chapel of admiral Johan af Puke who died in 1816.
