Sailing trail, alternative route Gåsefjärden – Stenshamn

Instead of following the main route down Torhamnsfjärden, you can explore more of the eastern archipelago by sailing via Gåsefjärden. This is a historic spot, thanks to the dramatic story of the Soviet submarine S-363 (U137) which ran aground here in 1981. Flakskär is a pleasant spot to anchor, with a buoy on the north side. If you intend to tie up in Stenshamn, the route in begins about 1 nautical mile directly north of the harbour.
