Sailing trail inside the Hälleryd archipelago

Instead of going straight from Karlshamn to Tärnö and on to Tjärö, there is much to be discovered in the archipelago off Karlshamn. This route passes closest to land and is the most sheltered route through the Karlshamn archipelago. Leave a good margin when rounding the Allböle headland though. Matvik is the biggest leisure harbour in Karlshamn and has guest moorings. The island of Östra Bokö’s anchorages are mainly on the north side, but there is also a jetty on the south side. The island has toilets and a solar-powered shower. Östra Bokö is an interesting island to explore. There are excellent natural harbours in Bruksviken and a walk on the Allböle trail is worth stopping off for. Walking through dramatic, untouched countryside, beside the fence of the Eriksberg wildlife park, there’s every chance of spotting deer and other wild animals.
