Hovetorp, startplats

Hovetorp's locks are Kinda Canal's largest lock staircase with four locks and a total height difference of 15.8 m. The lock gates are operated manually.

There is parking, drinking water, picnic tables, dry toilets, a rubbish bin, a few parking spaces for motorhomes and, in summer, a small self-service kiosk. There is a shelter and barbecue area nearby.

You can travel here by public transport, the nearest bus stop is Hovetorp (Linköping kn).
