Åtvidaberg, startplats

Åtvidaberg is a great place to start or end a hike.

There are many possibilities to get further by train or bus. For example, Åtvidaberg is served by both trains and buses to and from Linköping.

To get to the connection to Östgötaleden go from the travel center south on Slevringevägen. Pass by the church area and the football field area "Kopparvallen". This stretch has no trail markings so use the usual street map. From the travel center to the trail is 2 km.

You can then choose to hike the Bysjön round loop of 7 km, or follow the trail west over Mormorsgruvan towards Kinda or east through the beautiful Uknadalen towards Falerum.
