Description
The section begins at Veckholm Church, and takes you down to Härjarö by Lake Mälaren. From the start of the section, follow the country road towards Kungs-Husby past the Millis Kiosk. After 500 metres, the trail turns off into the forest. You’ll walk along paths and forest roads, stepping onto the road again at Hällsta. Next come 4.5 kilometres of hiking along flowering roadsides, and you’ll have a view of the farmland. In the village of Ӧn, the trail turns onto a gravel road through a farm, and continues for 2 kilometres towards Amnö, where a small car road takes over. Then, you’ll leave the farmland area, entering nature reserve Härjarö. There, the path goes through the forest along Lake Mälaren. On route, you’ll pass lovely beach Äppelnäsgrund. You can reach the other beach Blåhäll in the southern part of the nature reserve via a path from the end of the section.
Difficulty level: Easy/medium, small roads, forest paths at the end.

Parkering finns vid Veckholms kyrka och på Härjarö där etappen slutar.
Communications
Du kan kolla till Veckholm med buss, hållplatsen heter Veckholms kyrka. Ingen bussförbindelse finns till Härjarö, busshållplatsen närmast Härjarö är i byn Ön.
OBS att båda dessa hållplatser inte trafikeras så många gånger per dag. För bussnummer och tidtabeller, gå in på www.ul.se
Directions
Veckholm ligger ca 2 mil sydost om Enköping. Från Enköping kör du ut Boglösavägen, som går ut ur staden åt sydost. Du fortsätter vägen förbi Rickeby, Boglösa och Lillkyrka och kommer så småningom till Veckholm.
Härjarö ligger på en halvö i Mälaren, sydväst om Bålsta. Från väg 55 svänger du av söderut mot Härjarö i rondellen vid Litslena. Redan här står det skyltat. Du passerar Grillby och fortsätter på småvägar drygt 20 km. Framme på Härjarö följer du skyltning mot naturreservat och kommer snart till parkeringen vid Blåhäll. Från E18 kör du av mellan Enköping och Bålsta där det står skyltat mot Härjarö.
