Sustainable eco-tourism
You can rent a kayak or SUP (Stand Up Paddle-board) at Vänern Outdoor, go on a course, join a guided tour, arrange a kick-off with your company or do something different with your friends. You can also book a hiking package and discover the magical wilderness of Tiveden's National Park on foot. Vänern Outdoor has an overall sustainability goal of keeping its ecological footprint as small as possible, which you can clearly see in its transport, equipment and packed lunches.
Experience the largest lake in the EU
Vänern is an exciting lake with several archipelagos and around 22,000 islands and islets in total. There is plenty of space, no worries about jellyfish stings or showering off the salt after swimming. You can often find a beach to yourself or an island where you can stay overnight. The water is so clean that you can drink it straight from the lake.
