Sjötorp and Göta Canal
In the Canal and Maritime Museum you can learn about shipping of past times on Lake Vänern, Lake Vättern and Göta Canal. Learn how the canal was dug over 200 years ago and see documentation of old boats, blueprints, shipwrecks, old letters and more.
Take the opportunity to take a bike ride along the canal and discover more cozy villages and other attractions along the way. Bicycle rental is available in Sjötorp.
You can also go on a tour on your own and experience more of the old shipyard Sjötorp.
