Description
In Jan-Olsskogen you can hike in untouched forest with a wilderness feel. Here you can find many nice places to sit down for a while on a log or stone and enjoy the peace and quiet. If you're lucky, you might see a moose or deer moving through the forest. If you come here in summer or fall, it's easy to fill your basket with blueberries or edible mushrooms. Directions
From Surahammar take road 66 towards Fagersta. Turn right at sign Ramnäs 2. Drive 800 meters. Turn right at the sign Skultuna 15. Drive about 1 kilometer. Turn left at the sign Nature Reserve. Drive a short distance and you will arrive at the parking lot. Follow the gravel road on foot until you reach the reserve.
