Information board number 4 tells about Nyby which was a medieval mining village

In the 16th century, there was a miners' village here between the trees. According to local tradition, the people who worked at the Nyby mine and the mines nearby lived in Nyby mining village. The village is still mentioned in the 17th century, but by the middle of the 18th century there were only two cottages left. The mine pond in the south-eastern part of the area provided water for the village's domestic animals.
