Reservatet nås även med kollektivtrafik. Ta buss 555 från Kungsängen eller Bro station och kliv av vid hållplatsen Ängsuddsvägen, eller hållplatsen Nygårds industriområde. Från hållplatsen Ängsuddsvägen är det ca 1 kilometer till reservatet och från Nygårds industriområde är det ca 500 meter.

To protect the Broängarnas nature reserve, there are rules you must follow.

In the reserve it is forbidden to:

1. ride on the hiking trails and bring unleashed dogs
2. enter land and water areas on other than designated paths between 1/4 and 30/9
3. set up caravans or motorhomes, camp and make fires, other than in designated places with the municipality's permission
4. deliberately disturbing wildlife, for example by climbing trees or deliberately staying closer than 100 meters to a bird of prey's nest, lair or pot
5. making disturbing noises, e.g. with a music system, model airplane or similar
6. destroy or damage rock, earth or stone by drilling, hacking, blasting, carving, digging, painting or similar
7. break branches or otherwise damage vegetation, for example by digging up plants
8. putting up placards, posters and signs
9. organize orienteering, boating and shooting competitions/training or military exercises without the municipality's permission
10. organizing camp activities for schools and colleges without the municipality's permission and inventorying or investigating the nature reserve without the municipality's consent
