Prayer

God, help me to open my backpack and share what I have and receive in joy and gratitude what others want to give.

**Bible quote

"Here is a boy who has five barley loaves and two fish. But what is enough for so many? " Jesus said, "Let the people sit down." There was plenty of grass in that place. And they sat down - there were about five thousand men. Jesus took the bread, gave thanks to God, and distributed to those who were lying there, and also of the fish as much as they wanted. **Spiritual reflection

One boy. One little boy. One lonely boy or girl can't do anything, can it? What is enough for so many? He didn't have much but what he had he was prepared to share. And then; a miracle! We already share so much with nature, animals and other people. The air we breathe, the water we drink and the ground we stand on. As a pilgrim, we get to share on our journey. Maybe someone runs out of bread and you can give? Maybe you get a shoe chafe and someone has a band-aid? We can gratefully receive the good that comes to us and then pass it on. Everything is just on loan.
