Description
Prästaskogen is a young tree plantation that was established in the early 2000s on old agricultural land. After being allowed to grow for almost 20 years, work began in 2020 to make the forest accessible by thinning, making new paths and new seating areas. In the planning, the needs of children / young people for nature and outdoor life have been guiding.

Facts
The trees were planted in many regular rows, which can still be seen if you look carefully during your walk through the forest. The forest consists mostly of oak, with elements of bird berry, ash and lime. Dense thickets of elder, sloe and other species with flowers and berries frame the area. This is good for pollinators and birds, which can find food in the thickets!
