The nature reserve Döman lies c. 25 km south of Piteå and c. 9 km southeast of Jävre. You go ashore at the jetty and cabin lying on the western part of the island. A narrow channel to the jetty has been dredged. For more information, contact tourist information in Piteå Municipality.

The Döman nature reserve is located about 2.5 kilometers south of Piteå and about 9 kilometers southwest of Jävre. Landing is done at the pier and cottage located on the western part of the island, to which a narrow channel has been dredged. All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:

• camping
• hiking
• make a fire, but not directly on rocks. Remember to bring your own firewood!
• pick berries and edible mushrooms
• fish and hunt in accordance with the laws in force

It is not permitted to drive snowmobiles on the islands or to damage plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
