From Sveg you go to Lillhärdal, about 30 kilometers. Then you go south past the villages of Orrmo and Östansjö and about 3 kilometers from Östansjö you turn left onto a forest road. On this road you drive about 19 kilometers to Näcktjärnstugan and turn left there. After about 3 kilometers, turn left and drive north towards Skaftåsen. After about 6 kilometers and before you reach Skaftåsen, turn right and drive towards Pörvallen, where you have arrived.

Welcome to Storsvedberget. Keep in mind that within the reserve it is not allowed to:

• capture, disturb or harm mammals, birds, frogs and reptiles, as well as damage their nests and spawning grounds or collect eggs,
• pick and collect species of any kind, except berries and edible mushrooms
• climbing nest trees or deliberately staying closer than 100 meters to a bird of prey's nest, roost or burrow
• damaging the ground, boulders, vegetation, dry trees or other dead wood
• make fires, other than with firewood, and
• drive motorized vehicles in terrain except on existing snowmobile trails
