42. Prästbodarna - Valskaftet (lätt) / 43. Prästbodarna - Arådalen (lätt)

Prästbodarna is the starting point for two hiking options that can be combined with tour no. 41 (Lövberget - Prästbodarna):

42. Hike towards Valskaftet: Here you walk along the Jämt-Norway pilgrimage trail and follow the markings via Stuguberget towards the sheepfold in Valskaftet. Almost all the buildings have collapsed with the embankment offering a nice view of the surroundings.

43. Hike towards Arådalen: If you choose instead to hike more north, there is a path towards the fäbodvallen Östra Arådalen. Östra Arådalen is very nicely situated by the tree line and is well preserved as it is within the nature reserve Arådalen. The rampart is in operation in summer but not open to the public. Please respect private property. From Östra Arådalen the old "tractor path" leads towards Arådalen and can be a little wet on the last bit.
