Description
Den största delen av reservatet är täckt med gammal granskog. I granskogen samsas träd av alla tänkbara tjocklekar och åldrar om utrymmet. Stammar i olika tjocklekar, lavar som hänger ner från grenar och omkullvälta träd skapar flera lager av skog – nästan som en trolsk värld. Du kan se kullfallna träd med sotsvarta märken på stammarna. Också på levande träd kan du se spår av skogsbranden. Stammarna kan vara skadade av värmen. Barken faller av och veden kommer fram. Överlever trädet växer såret igen. Skadan kallas brandljud. Tallar har extra tjock bark och överlever ofta en brand.

Welcome to Lövåsen-Fillingsåsen. Please note that within the reserve it is not allowed to:
- capture, disturb or harm mammals, birds, frogs and reptiles, as well as to damage
- their nests and spawning grounds or collect eggs
- picking and collecting any species except berries and edible mushrooms
- climbing nest trees or deliberately staying closer than 100 m to a bird of prey's nest, roost or burrow
- damage the ground, boulders, vegetation, dry trees or other dead wood
- drive a motorized vehicle on bare ground.
- burn anything other than loose branches from the ground or firewood brought with you. Dry logs, dry stumps and the like may not be used as fuel.
