Dalen-Hökolsberget naturreservat

An interesting nature area on the slope of Hökolsberget. Here you can follow many trails and experience everything unique from the whitetip valley and deciduous forests to old spruce forest.

There is great variation in the area, from completely open areas closest to the village to very dense deciduous forest where the spruce is beginning to make its entrance. Parts of the spruce forest up on the mountain are biotope protected.

Many people visit Dalen in the spring when the wood anemones are in bloom and the birdsong is at its most intense. It is an important hiking area for local residents all year round. The top of Hökolsberget is a hiking destination and a natural resting place and viewpoint.
