Närmsta busshållplats är Fornbro. Därifrån är det en knapp kilometer att gå norrut längs Ekebyvägen till avtagsvägen mot reservatet. Det är alltså knappt tre kilometer från busshållplatsen till entrén till reservatet.

Drive onto road 675 (Ekebyvägen), either signposted towards Ekeby from road 288 in the north or towards Ekeby/Bladåker from road 661, (Hallstaviksvägen), in the south. Between Johannesberg and Fornbro turn at the sign P Naturreservat. Drive 1.8 km. Park at a turning loop where the reserve sign is also located.

In the reserve it is forbidden to:

1. dig, hoe or otherwise damage the soil surface
2. break branches, cut down or otherwise damage living or dead standing or fallen trees and bushes,
3. digging up or picking flowers, grasses, mosses, fungi, lichens or otherwise removing or damaging plants or plant parts of any kind, with the exception of picking edible mushrooms, fruit and berries
4. kill or remove animals, remove eggs, eggs or nests or otherwise deliberately disturb wildlife
5. make an open fire in a place other than a specially prepared place,
6. bring an unleashed dog or other loose pet,
7. drive a motorized vehicle other than on a designated parking space and public roads,
8. put up a board, poster, poster, sign or make an inscription,
9. organize competitions without the permission of the County Administrative Board.
