Description
The lightship Finngrundet was built in Gävle in 1903 and served as a floating lighthouse at Finngrundet until it was taken out of service in 1969. Finngrundet had a crew of eight men and the range of the lighthouse was about 11 nautical miles. The ship, which has been a museum ship since 1970, is 31 meters long and 6.85 meters wide.
The ship is owned by the National Maritime and Transport History Museums.
