Näsby fält, besöksplats i Vattenriket

Näsby fält is a varied area. There are paths to walk along all year round. The paths take you past open meadows, bushes and reeds, through swamp forests, beach meadows and rich broadleaf forests. Norra Lingenäset is particularly beautiful in spring. Wood anemones and yellow anemones form whole carpets, and here and there a pale pink water lily peeks out from under the leaves. Soon it will be the turn of the wild garlic to break out in white balls. Then come the yellow plovers, ferns and lilies of the valley. Northern Lingenäset is the right place to enjoy the different phases of spring.

A spring walk offers lovely songs of blackcap, nightingale and garden warbler. Look out over the water from the platform. Lapwings, geese and ducks often rest in Lake Araslövssjön. You may see a merlin or brown harrier hunting over the beaches, reeds and meadows.

Näsby fält used to be a military training area. In 2002 it became a nature reserve to protect the nature and recreational values close to the city. Cows graze to keep the land open. Norra Lingenäset is a trail entrance for Skåneleden in Vattenriket. There is a rest area with a shelter, barbecue area and toilet.

Vättestigen

Along the red and white trail at Norra Lingenäset there is a fairy tale path, 700 meters. Here you can follow the angry wet's hunt for his favorite flower via signs and wooden sculptures.

Accessibility

At Norra Lingenäset there is a spacious parking lot with reserved disabled spaces. There are clear signposts to the various trails and visitor points in the area. There are picnic tables with one side open for wheelchair users or those bringing chairs. From the parking lot leads a path, whose width is close to two meters in most places. Some slopes of up to 10% occur. Benches are placed along the path. At the headland there is a wooden platform with good accessibility even for wheelchair users. There is no disabled toilet.
