Join us along the Linnéstigen
Jumkil Hike and discover the magnificent nature of unspoiled forest. Here we’ll hike
through an ancient forest rich in lichen, where the oldest, gnarled pines are over 200 years old,
balance across the moss-covered footbridges, and pass through a lush stream ravine. Nature guide Lisel
Hamring will tell us about the plants we see today, which ones existed in Linnaeus’s time, and
what he used them for.
The hike starts at the signposted
parking lot for Linnéstigen and ends at Studentvilan, for a total distance of about 4.7 km.
Parts of the route follow narrow forest trails. Bring a packed lunch.
Registration: info@biotopia.nu or 018–727 63 70
no later than September 17.
