Description
Erstad marsh is a unique migratory bird site. The marsh is located at Erstadsviken in the northern part of Visingsö and is the only one of its kind on the southern shores of Lake Vättern. The area is well grazed and separated from Lake Vättern by a low embankment. Especially in late summer, Erstad marsh is an important resting place for migrating birds.
