Description
Stollgångens stig is a steep climb from Stollgången past Flogberget's mines up towards Gruvstugan. A nice cultural trail to hike on your own and is part of the Pilgrim Trail, Romboleden, which passes Flogberget.
Flogberget's mine is one of Sweden's few visitor mines. The mine is located high up with a mile-wide view of Lake Leran. Iron ore has been mined here since the 16th century, but it was in 1873 that mining started on a larger scale.
Flogberget's mine is one of the visitor destinations in Ekomuseum Bergslagen.
