Kör norrut från Åsele på väg 90. Passera avfarten till Torvsjö och ta nästa till höger på andra sidan Gammelgårdsberget. Efter 9 km passerar vägen Skovelsjön och det finns entréer till reservatet på båda sidorom sjön.
