Description

In Åkersberga in Österåker municipality you will find Trastsjöskogen, a nature area close to the city center with many varied marked trails and paths. Here you'll find magical spruce forests, hiking-friendly pine forests and bright deciduous forests. In Trastsjöskogen you can take long lovely walks in the forest, pick berries and mushrooms or swim in Lake Valsjön. You can wander among 200-year-old pines and hear the woodpecker drumming on the trees in search of food. At Södersjön or on one of the rocky outcrops on the heights, you can sit in the sun and enjoy the peace and quiet.
