Klåvudden is a well-known migratory bird site. In spring, birdwatchers come here to look for eider, kittiwake, blackbird, oystercatcher and sandwich tern, species otherwise associated with the east and west coasts. Most birds pass by early in the morning. Great crested grebe, common snipe and little auk can be seen all year round

The Klåvudden nature reserve is located 16 km south of Askersund and about 2 km southwest of Harge. Show consideration for residents and landowners when you visit the reserve. Parking is available at Harge uddars nature reserve, about 250 m west of the reserve. The nearest bus stop is at Hargebaden (line 629 Askersund-Nydalen), about 2 km walk from the reserve.
