Lönnebergaleden LB1 - Eckerhult - Kvarntorpet - a section of the Smålandsleden Trail

This stage offers a wonderful combination of nature, history, and the chance to relax by the water. Just before Igelhult and at Björnuddviken, there are great spots to take a break. Here you’ll find a wind shelter, a fire pit, a dry toilet, and a place to swim—a perfect spot for a longer rest and perhaps a dip on warmer days.

Along the way, you’ll pass several fascinating historical sites that tell the story of the area’s history and past activities. Among other things, you’ll see an old mill complex, a cholera cemetery, and a tar kiln.

Feel free to spend a little extra time at these historic sites and reflect on how the landscape has been used and changed over the centuries.

There’s also a beautiful viewpoint overlooking Lake Nerbjärken that you won’t want to miss.
