Description
Popular Sidtjärn is located in central Boliden. In addition to the bath, there is also a walking path around Sidtjärn of about one kilometre. There are two wind shelters with barbecue rings on each short side of the pond where it is possible to prepare your own lunch by the fireplaces. There are water toilets, one of which is accessible. Vackert friluftsområde med riktig hembygdskänsla och stora öppna grönytor. Under våren 2025 färdigställs en lekpark på Sidtjärnsområdet som gissningsvis kommer att uppskattas av både yngre och äldre. Här finns också den s.k. Bolidengården, nyligen renoverad och möjlig att hyra för den som behöver en festlokal etc. I Sidtjärn går det givetvis också bra att ta sig ett dopp. Det finns en fin sandstrand på den västra sidan av tjärnen. På området finns också en hel del annat som kan vara av intresse för de aktiva (boulebana, tennisbana, utegym, pumptrack etc). Värt ett besök!
