Led Torprundan Hovfjället

Torprundan is the shortest trail in Hovfjället nature reserve. The trail starts with a slope up to the top of Hovfjället. There is a viewing tower on the ski slope with views for miles. The trail takes you through lean pine forest on rocky outcrops, over large bogs and on into spruce forest. Halfway along Torprundan is the rest house Bondfugestorp, which is an old croft from the late 1800s. There you can grill on fireplaces both inside and outside. The meadows at Bondfugestorp are mowed every year to preserve the meadow flora. Along Torprundan there are signs telling about the nature and history of Hovfjället.
