Fågelmorgon i Ledskärs hamn

Where: Ledskär Harbor, Skärplinge

Which birds pass through Ledskär on
their way south this fall? Why is this such a good resting spot for the birds?
Does it have anything to do with the shallow bay?

Come to our fall bird-watching morning and
you’ll get answers to these questions—and maybe even to your own questions about birds along
the Uppland coast! Thousands of wetland birds stop to rest in the Ledskär area in September.
This morning, our bird expert Martin Amcoff will be on site to talk about
the area’s birds.

The coffee fire is going, and we’ll
serve coffee or tea and a small cookie. Binoculars are available to borrow, and you can also try
looking
through a spotting scope.

Accessibility: An accessible dry toilet and
picnic tables are available on site, as well as accessible parking. The ground is paved, and there is a small
ramp leading to the lower level of the bird tower.
