Vandra bekvämare i Boxholm

To make the experience along the Östgötaleden trail in Boxholm even better,
three sections have now been equipped with new composting outhouses. They are located
next to the wind shelters at Mörtsjön, Stora Stocksjön, and Trehörningen,
which creates better conditions for both day hikers and those who want to
embark on a longer adventure.

The stages in question are:

• Boxholm – Trehörna (25 km)
• Boxholm – Blåvik (23 km)
• Malexander – Smedstorp (24 km)

In Boxholm, a hike of about 10 mil awaits through
the magnificent nature of the Sommen region, where the trail winds its way along forest paths
and small gravel roads, through enchanting forests, past sparkling forest lakes, and partly
along the beautiful Lake Sommen.
