Description
In Temminki-Markkatieva there are deep old growth forests, large wetlands and some lakes and rivers. The bird life is rich in both forests and on the mires. Through the area there is a sandy ridge that goes several kilometres inte Torneträsk-Soppero Nature reserve.
Temminki-Markkatieva is 165 square kilometres and is situated in Kiruna.
