Kronogård is an old-growth mountain forest reserve with hills, lakes, mires and watercourses. Here you find several fishing lakes, marked paths, stopover sites, stopover cabins, and snowmobile trails. Kronogård wilderness camp lies just south of the reserve, which is 53 square kilometres in size.

Under en 2 dagars vandring i Juni -21 såg vi inte en själ. Inga bilar i parkeringen, ingen trafik. Folktomt och öde. Vacker miljö, inga mygg såhär tidigt i säsongen och vi hade det varmt och fint.
