The old station area in Hånger has become a new meeting place, both for Hånger residents and visitors. Värnamo municipality has built a barbecue area, shelter, tables and benches. Remember to bring your own firewood if you want to use the barbecue.

Värnamo municipality has redesigned the old station that used to be here in Hånger, but with a new look. Much of the building material comes from our local forests. Around the windbreak, the municipality is now working to develop a flower meadow for all the bees that live in the area.

The station area in Hånger has also become a destination along the Lagadalsleden cycle path. The Lagadalsleden is a car-free cycle path that runs from Värnamo, via Ljungby and on to Halmstad. The cycle path is still under development.
