The reserve is just under five miles north of Strömsund. Take road 342 to Gubbhögen and round the north-western end of Lake Flåsjön. The reserve's information board can be found on the north side of the road 3.5 kilometers after you turn off road 342.

Welcome to Siljeåsberget. Keep in mind that within the reserve it is not allowed to:

• capture, disturb or harm mammals, birds, frogs and reptiles, damage their nests and spawning grounds or collect eggs
• picking and collecting any species except berries and edible mushrooms
• climbing nest trees or deliberately staying closer than 100 meters to a bird of prey's nest, roost or burrow
• damaging the ground, boulders, vegetation, dry trees or other dead wood
• make fires, except in specially designated places, if available
• drive motorized vehicles off-road throughout the area
• without the permission of the County Administrative Board, carry out both commercial and non-commercial organized activities, such as sports events, tourist activities, hunting tests, visits by large groups, recurring events, etc. The permit obligation does not apply to groups with fewer than 15 participants and school classes or pre-school groups that only engage in traditional hiking or touring on occasion.
