God said, "I am who I am. Tell them that he who is called 'I am' has sent you to them." Exodus 3:14

**Spiritual reflection

When Moses asks to know God's name, he is told only: "I am who I am". That is the only thing God reveals about himself. God is. We cannot grasp more than that. God is always greater. There are many images of God, many words that describe the Undescribable. The prayer of the Pearl of God uses the words: Boundless. God is not bound by time or space. Close. God is to be found in every human heart. Light. Despite the way life looks, we can trust that God wants us well and that life is worth living. Let these words be images that help us approach the One who Is, whom we cannot understand but are moved by.
