Bergius Botanic Garden

By car from Stockholm. Drive Roslagsvägen to the exit at Naturhistoriska riksmuseet. Turn left at the roundabout under Roslagsvägen. By car from the north. From E4/Uppsalavägen take exit 169 at Järva krog towards Norrtälje. Then turn onto Norrtäljevägen south towards Stockholm. After Bergshamra take the exit at the Ekhagen interchange, signposted Bergianska trädgården. By SL train and bus take Roslagsbanan to the University (about 5 minutes from Östra station). The walkway to the garden is on the west side of Roslagsbanan (walking time about 7 min). Alternatively, change to bus from Universitetet norra, see below. Metro to the University, then walkway or buses, see SL.se. It is about 10 minutes walk from the metro. By bike Bicycle lanes run parallel to Roslagsvägen from both directions. There are two options for crossing the Roslagsbanan railroad; either you cross the pedestrian and bicycle bridge at the University metro station or you cross the railway crossing at Bergiusvägen. Park your bike at one of the main entrances, see map. Please note that the Bergian Garden is a museum of living plants. For this reason, cycling is not allowed on the paths in the garden.
