Description

The Broknapparna nature reserve consists of four islands that you can reach by boat. The islands are called Lindholmen, Rönnskär and the two Broknapparna. On the islands you will find bare rocky areas with barren pine stands and deciduous forest with rich grove flora. There are old, large lime trees. The islands are of great importance for bird life. Ospreys and around fifty terns nest here. Thanks to the islands' location in Lake Mälaren and the old, coarse deciduous trees, there are also good conditions for a rich insect life.
