Säby kyrka

Säby Church is one of the most beautiful medieval churches in the county, dating back to the 12th century. Since then, the church has been rebuilt and restored several times. Among the preserved altarpieces, the magnificent altarpiece with a pietá image is one of the church's finest sights. The 14 sculptures of the pulpit from the 17th century are among the most interesting works in our country from that time. There is a wheelchair ramp at the main entrance to the church. There is a hearing loop in the church loudspeaker. The church can provide a guide, which can be booked through the pastor's office. Coffee and home baking can be arranged for groups in the nearby school. There are cassette guides in the church in Swedish, English, German, French and Dutch.
