Description
Kilbäcksskiftets nature reserve is located on the south-eastern slope of Särvfjället. Within the reserve there are mountain pastures, bare mountains, bogs and woodland.
The Henvålen nature reserve includes two homesteads (farms) from the 18th century - Lövkläppen and Henvålen. Lövkläppen is particularly valuable historically and culturally and is therefore of national interest for cultural heritage. Aloppkölen is a bog area of the highest protection class.
Handölsdalens, Mittådalens and Tåssåsens samebyar use the entire Henvålens nature reserve for reindeer grazing. Keep your distance from and respect the reindeer you see.
