Description

The railway bridge over Nissan got its current appearance in 1928 when it was rebuilt from a truss bridge. During the 70s and 80s, the station was closed and the West Coast Line was re-routed northeast of Halmstad. The bridge was then converted into a pedestrian and bicycle bridge and is today a beautiful and welcome shortcut over the sparkling waters of the Nissan.
