Nävernäsan utsiktsplats

Mount Nävernäsan is a popular destination all year round, largely because of the old fire tower that stands on top about 500 meters above sea level. The view from the observation hut at the top of the tower is impressive, and in optimal conditions it should be possible to see mountain peaks on the horizon.

Adjacent to the tower there is a picnic hut, a shelter and a barbecue area so there are good conditions to make the excursion to Nävernäsan a full day in nature. The area around the mountain is a nature reserve with old coniferous forest so there is much to discover, including the wetland area Nävernäsmyran which you pass on footpaths on the way up to the mountain top itself.

Nearby are also the nature reserves Oringsjö, Mo-Långsjön and Högberget.
