Skellefteå södra FVO

Skellefteå södra FVO manages fishing in about ten lakes and ponds within Gärdsmark, Gummark and Ragvaldsträsk village associations. The five largest lakes are Gärdsmarksträsket, Gummarksträsket, Hemvattnet, Västträsket and Ragvaldsträsket. The lakes have good PH values, are relatively nutritious and thus have a large production of fish. The fish species are those common for the area, pike, perch, roach, bream and roach. All the lakes are good for perch and pike fishing, Ragvaldsträsket also has a good population of pike perch. For those interested in fishing for large whitefish, Gummarksträsket should be really interesting with its rich supply of large bream.
