In Skallöns nature reserve there are great opportunities for great nature experiences. The area around Skallötjärnen is relatively easy to walk and there are some nice natural picnic areas with views of the lake.
If you want to go for a swim, snorkel or have a coffee and enjoy the sea instead, Norra Grundfjärden is recommended. Parts of the reserve are interesting for birdwatching.
